Open Mic

The Stage Door at the Keyboard Galleria hosts a (FREE) monthly open mic for all musicians, lyricists, comics, and entertainers starting at 7:00pm on the first Tuesday of every month.

Solo acts, duos and small combos are welcome. KGMC always provides a great back line, so don't worry about bringing your gear. Of course, if you're attached to your favorite guitar, you can bring it. The stage is complete with amps, drums, digital piano, and Bose PA system. It's a great room to play and a great way to meet other like-minded musicians in the community.

Try out a new song you are composing, or perform a song by your favorite artist... or just come and listen to the great talent that will perform.

  • The first act goes on at 7:00 sharp. Space is limited, so when all the slots are filled, that's it. If you sign up and then you're not there when it's your turn, somebody else will get your spot. So stay frosty...and enjoy the other players.

  • We reserve the right to tweak the order to make for a more interesting show. We like to mix it up a bit from time to time, so be ready to perform.

  • You've only got a little over 5 minutes. Don't spend four of them tuning your guitar or banjo. Be ready to plug-in and play. The stage has the gear to make you sound Pro!

  • Feel free to bring your friends, family, spiritual advisers, your palm reader and parole officers to cheer you on. We love a crowd, and they will love you playing and singing until we kick you off for the next act...and Mom's are always welcome no matter what.

  • Stick around, just on general principles. Give your fellow performers the respect and attention you'd want them to give to you. Support your fellow musicians. We are all in this together.

  • This ain't Disneyland, but we are a local family business. So please: no smoke bombs, no profanity, no drugs, no booze, no human sacrifice. We reserve the right to abort any performance deemed unsuitable for our audience. I no that's not YOU...
