Clip It Where You Want It
The supplied attachment clip lets you snap the recorder onto a music stand, mic stand or any convenient location. Small and light, it stays where you put it and won't be in the way.

High Capacity Memory with microSD Cards
The C24 has a built-in 2GB flash memory, providing 3 hours of PCM recording time (MP3: 13.5 hours). Using the optional 2GB microSD memory card doubles this amount. You can also use higher capacity cards.

Long-lasting Battery for Extended Recording
The C24 offers significantly longer recording time than comparable models. A single alkaline AAA battery will power the unit for up to 26 hours in MP3 mode and 16 hours in PCM mode.

24bit/96kHz Recording - Better Quality than CD!
Surprisingly, this small pocket recorder offers digital audio recording with 24bit/96kHz resolution, which is higher than CD quality. Thanks to Yamaha technology, small size is not a sacrifice. Naturally, you can also use the MP3 format for longer recording.

High Quality Non-directional Stereo Microphone
With a large mic built into its compact body, the C24 records sound with excellent clarity. The mic is nondirectional, so you can record over a wide area without having to point it at each sound source. This makes it easy to record large groups like brass bands or choirs.

Direct USB Connection
Slide out the USB connector and the C24 connects directly to a USB port. USB 2.0 compatibility means that an hour of recorded sound can be transferred in 10 seconds. Transfer recordings to your computer and email them right after they've been recorded. And because the C24 comes bundled with Cubase AI5 software, you have extensive editing and production capabilities.

Peak Limiter for Optimum Music Recording
When bands or orchestras hit high volume peaks, recording quality can suffer. The C24's peak limiter instantly detects these high levels to prevent overload and distortion. Yamaha worked with musicians in studios to ensure that the limiter function is optimized for music recording.

Cut out what you don't want, adjust the sound the way you want it. Using Cubase AI 5 software, it's easy to edit POCKETRAK recordings on your PC or Mac. Both the W24 and C24 let you easily upload recordings to your PC via USB, for comprehensive editing with Cubase software. Previous editing with Cubase can also be retained, allowing you to refine the process as many times as necessary.

As a security precaution, some orders may require extended verification.

To make sure you get your gear as quickly as possible, your order may arrive in multiple boxes over multiple days, but you will not be charged more for shipping as a result.

If in-stock items on the order have already shipped, back order items will be sent UPS Ground.

Lighter weight items may be shipped via USPS.

Orders shipping outside the Lower 48 States to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico can only be shipped via air services.
